National Federation of the Blind Honors Senator Grassley

Washington, DC (January 29, 2019): The National Federation of the Blind presented Senator Charles E. “Chuck” Grassley with its Distinguished Legislator Award. The award was presented to Senator Grassley on January 28 as part of the opening ceremony of the annual Washington Seminar, during which our members from across the country visit with their members of Congress to advise them of the legislative and policy concerns of blind Americans.

Blind Intelligence Analyst Sues FBI and Department of Justice

Washington, DC (November 19, 2019): Joe Orozco, a blind intelligence analyst with the Federal Bureau of Investigation since 2012, is suing the FBI and the United States Department of Justice for violating his civil rights under Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.
